Government Commerce College Naroda Ahmedabad organised the Yuvamanthan Model G20, a unique initiative for youth to excel in public speaking, diplomacy, and strategy, today on 25th Jul 2023. The summit witnessed the participation of total 185 students in which 20 students acting as leaders of G20 nations and 2 students represented two Guest World Bank and WHO..



India’s assumption of the G20 presidency from December 2022 is a defining moment in its history, aiming to foster pragmatic global solutions and embody the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (One Earth – One Family – One Future), the theme of G20. Acknowledging the crucial role of India’s youth in an interconnected world, Yuvamanthan Model G20 (YMG20) provides a platform for their inclusion, amplifying their voices on socio-political issues.



Key outcomes of the discussion included consensus on Health, Wellbeing, and Sports: Agenda for Youth. The participants also emphasized the importance of knowledge sharing among G20 nations.



Addressing the students, the Chief Guest on the occasion Principal Dr. J.G. Rangiya highlighted the opportunity for innovative ideas to shape a sustainable and inclusive world by saying Yuvamanthan Model G20 provides a significant learning opportunity for students to develop skills like public speaking, strategy building, team building and multilateral negotiations among others and contribute to a better world.



On this occasion, the Teacher Coordinator Commerce College Naroda, Ahmedabad Dr. Shuchi Tripathi emphasized the college’s commitment to fostering practical discussions and nurturing essential skills in youth.
