Government has started Scope exam to encourage the knowledge of English among students. SCOPE (Society for Creation of Opportunity through Proficiency in English), established in 2007 by the Government of Gujarat to build English language proficiency in the youth of Gujarat and thereby create employment opportunities for them, has been the most successful PPP model in the state. It has an established network of 300+ centres through Five Zonal Training Partners (ZTPs) for the purpose of providing English language training to the candidates. More than 700 colleges and universities are also SCOPE centres. SCOPE programme is centred on three challenges of education – Access, Equity and Quality. Cambridge English Language Assessment, part of the University of Cambridge, UK is the Assessment and Certification partner of SCOPE.

In our college we are filling the forms of our students to appear the exam of CPT level. Prof. Pratima Srivastava is Co-ordinater of SCOPE Exam.This is an online adaptive test of general English, testing the skills of reading, listening as well as proper use of English.CPT stands for Cambridge Placement Test. It has been designed to be short and flexible to meet the needs of users who want to place English language learners at all levels of Common Europeon Framework. Every year we are hiring experts in our college for the guidance and preparation of Exam.

In the academic year 2016-17, Total 268 students studying in Sem- I appeared CPT level exam which was conducted in the month of December 2016 in slot of three days. Exam date was from 28/12/2016 to 30/12/2016. This year also, we encouraged our students and guided to fill CPT level form.
